Rêves Rouges is a Belgian golden strong ale aged six months in oak rum barrels from a premier Idaho distiller, and refermented on Idaho tart cherries. The beer was blended from just two barrels and meticulously bottle conditioned over the course of several months. Expect a muted crimson hued brew with a luscious frothing white head, a vinous and piquant aroma of cranberry, pinot noir, and cherry candy, and flavor nuances of old wood, vanilla, walnut, white pepper, and red raspberry. Effervescent, strong, and delicate. Rêves Rouge will continue to evolve favorably with careful cellaring for years to come.
