Old & Weiz is a blended Weizenbock loaded with specialty wheat and barley malts, decocted for maximum grain character, and aged in a combination of Widow Jane 10 Year bourbon and Oloroso sherry barrels. This patient and mature brew exhibits deeply interwoven layers of nutty earthy wheat, tan leather, honey, vanilla, toffee, maple, and autumn fruits like dried red apple, raisin, and bananas foster from the high character German ale yeast.
