Autumn Greetings!
The unofficial start of fall is finally here, and what better way to kick it off than the annual Sockeye Bacon & Beer Festival happening this Saturday September 9th from 1—5PM over at Expo Idaho! We have 30 amazing breweries from around the country, 9 incredible restaurants crafting their finest bacon dishes, live music all day from Soul Serene and David Henry. This is an outdoor event and the weather is shaping up to be fantastic! Admission is just $45 and includes all the beer and food tickets you need. We look forward to sampling beers and crushing bacon with you this Saturday.

Please also mark your calendars for our Barrel Aged Halloween Party on 10/21 at our Fairview packaging facility, a combination of a costume party, a five bottle new beer release, and an opportunity to drink some our most exclusive beers right from the barrels that house them. Details about the event will be announced soon, but you don’t want to miss this one! We will also be opening up our 2024 Chronicles membership program at this event, the lineup for next year will include some of our most ambitious beers to date and memberships are limited, so this will be a great opportunity to get signed up!

We love the fall here at Sockeye for the beers that come with the season. Our iconic Marzen Lager, Socktoberfest, is back on tap this week at both locations and rolling out to the market in cans right now. We also brewed our first of two wet hop beers last week, featuring a new hop from Jackson Hop Farm in Wilder, ID called Pink, known to exhibit a unique cotton candy character. The beer is called Carnival King, and will drop in both locations in the next week or so. Additionally, we have our World Beer Cup Silver Medal winning Coffee Ale, Biiraa Ganama back on tap now, and have a very special Chardonnay barrel aged Belgian Golden Strong Ale coming out later this month. Exciting few weeks over here in the brew house!

We are pleased to also announce the arrival of our new brunch menu at the Alehouse, featuring some of Chef Michael’s breakfast magic, including a mouthwatering short rib scramble, spicy chilaquiles, and a highly anticipated breakfast burrito! Brunch is only available on Sundays for the time being. To make the Alehouse even more of an unmissable Sunday hang, we have the full NFL Sunday Ticket package there this season, meaning every single football game will be on, all season long! See you down there for opening weekend this Sunday!
On the golf bar side, we have a big tournament coming up on Tuesday September 19th, where the grand prize for winning is Sockeye beer for a year! The tournament will feature two player teams and is filling up fast. Claim your spot in the bracket and a chance at the grand prize by registering here:
